Family in Mount Holly looking for a trustworthy nanny.

We are a young family seeking a caring, dependable nanny to care for our 13-month-old daughter, Ari. We have had her in daycare for the last 10 months, but she has been sick so often in those 10 months and even recently experienced her first febrile seizure. We want the best for our girl and her health so we would like her to have someone to care for her in the safety of our home so she can stay healthy! We value a nurturing environment, consistency, and open communication. We’re looking for someone who will care for her like family. We would also love someone who is open to growing with our family with any future siblings she may have! Responsibilities - Provide attentive, engaged care for Ari throughout the day - Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities (reading, music, outdoor play, developmental play) - Prepare and serve meals/snacks for her - Follow established routines for naps, meals, and playtime - Diapering and maintaining hygiene - Light housekeeping (cleaning bottles/dishes, tidying play areas, child’s laundry if needed, any others are a bonus!) - Communicate daily updates on activities, meals, naps, and any concerns Expectations - Warm, patient, and attentive caregiver who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers - Prior experience with infants/toddlers (1+ year preferred) - Must pass full background check - Punctual and reliable. We don’t have family or back up care in the area so we really need consistent support! - Knowledge of age-appropriate development and milestones - Comfortable following a structured routine while adapting to the child’s needs - Non-smoker - Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and valid license. - CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) - Up-to-date on vaccinations - Comfortable with large dogs. We have a black lab named Bleu. He is very sweet and kept separate from her play areas, but is allowed in common areas like the kitchen. Additional Health & Safety Experience (Preferred): - Since she has experienced 1 febrile seizure, the likelihood she may experience another while sick is increased so we would love someone who is comfortable in medical situations and can recognize and respond if that situation were to ever occur again. - Comfortable monitoring for fever/illness symptoms and administering basic care (per parental guidance) Preferred Qualities - Background in childcare, early childhood education, or healthcare - Proactive and able to plan enriching activities - Strong communication skills - Trustworthy and respectful of our home and parenting style - Bilingual would be a plus! She is half Mexican and I would love to do a better job of teaching her our culture.
