Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Oklahoma (or compact eligibility)
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Passion for helping others and working with seniors
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Time management and organizational skills
