DC Enclosures, Inc. is an established residential construction company serving homeowners since 1988. We specialize in sunrooms, screen enclosures, pool enclosures, patio covers, and outdoor living spaces.
We are seeking a dependable, highly organized, and hands-on Construction Safety, Fleet & Equipment Compliance Supervisor. This person will be responsible for jobsite safety, employee training, fleet inspections and maintenance coordination, ladder and fall-protection compliance, and the management of company tools and safety equipment.
This is not strictly an office position. The supervisor must regularly visit jobsites, inspect vehicles and equipment, work directly with installation crews, correct unsafe practices, and maintain accurate digital compliance records.
Key Responsibilities
Jobsite Safety and Crew Compliance
Conduct routine and unannounced jobsite safety inspections.
Monitor compliance with applicable OSHA construction standards and company safety policies.
Confirm that crews are using the proper personal protective equipment and safety equipment for each job and application.

Verify that employees are properly trained and authorized before using ladders, fall-protection systems, forklifts, power tools, and other company equipment.
Provide hands-on safety coaching and follow-up training when deficiencies are identified.
Lead and document weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Assist with incident investigations, injury documentation, corrective-action plans, and required follow-up.
Maintain organized safety inspection, training, incident, and compliance logs.
New-Employee Safety and Equipment Training
Train new employees on the safe and proper use of company tools, ladders, fall-protection systems, personal protective equipment, and jobsite equipment.
Verify that required training is completed before an employee performs restricted work or uses specialized equipment.
Document employee training, certifications, acknowledgments, and equipment authorizations.
Provide refresher training when unsafe practices or improper equipment use are observed.
Vehicle and Trailer Compliance
Complete and document a detailed safety inspection of company vehicles and trailers each week.
Review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and follow up on reported defects or safety concerns.
Monitor tires, lights, brakes, mirrors, windshield condition, safety equipment, registrations, insurance documentation, and general vehicle condition.
Track preventive maintenance, service intervals, registrations, repairs, and inspection deadlines.
Remove unsafe vehicles or trailers from service until repairs are completed.
Obtain competitive estimates and negotiate the best reasonable pricing for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Coordinate approved repairs with qualified service providers and verify that the work has been completed.

Track the assignment, condition, inspection history, and replacement dates of fall-protection equipment.
Confirm that crews understand which ladder and fall-protection systems are appropriate for the work being performed.
Verify that fall-protection equipment is being used correctly at jobsites.
Tool and Equipment Management
Maintain an accurate inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and safety supplies.
Track tools and equipment assigned to each employee, crew, truck, or jobsite.
Conduct routine inspections of hand tools, power tools, extension cords, generators, and other equipment.
Confirm that required guards, handles, grounding components, and other manufacturer safeguards are installed and functioning.

Coordinate tool servicing, preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement.
Research and procure appropriate tools, replacement parts, and safety equipment for crews.

Monitor forklift inspections and operator certifications.
Assist with maintaining the company Safety Manual, Employee Handbook, and written safety procedures.
Support Georgia Drug-Free Workplace compliance requirements.
Prepare regular compliance reports for management and promptly report overdue inspections, unresolved hazards, damaged equipment, or repeated violations.
Follow corrective items through completion rather than only documenting the original issue.
Required Qualifications
OSHA 30 Construction certification.
Three to five years of construction safety, field supervision, equipment management, fleet compliance, or related experience.
Practical knowledge of construction tools, ladders, fall-protection equipment, personal protective equipment, and safe work practices.
