Governance & Portfolio Project Manager

Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a Governance & Portfolio Project Manager. This person partners with R&D leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive portfolio governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence across assigned portfolios. This role leads governance processes, supports portfolio prioritization and decision-making, develops reporting and portfolio management tools, and delivers data-driven insights that help leadership make informed investment and resource allocation decisions. The Director is responsible for improving portfolio visibility, optimizing business processes, supporting annual planning efforts, and ensuring effective communication of portfolio progress, risks, milestones, and strategic priorities across the organization. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education but will vary from $60-$70/hr . Experience leading/contributing to the strategic initiatives in early R&D phases (ie targeted recruitment in clinical trials) Experience supporting drug development programs from Phase I through regulatory filing and approval Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
