Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional statuses, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your approach.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals that reflect their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, providing targeted interventions to address a variety of mental health issues, including relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Regularly evaluate and modify treatment strategies to align with clients’ progress and feedback, fostering a responsive therapeutic environment.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and resources to deliver holistic care to clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of the latest trends, research findings, and methodologies in the field of marriage and family therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention services, remaining steadfast and empathetic in times of client distress or emergency.

• Advocate for clients' rights, equipping them with the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions regarding their mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Presence Multicultural Counseling Center, your clients will range from children to adults, including couples seeking to improve their relationships. You will provide culturally-sensitive therapy tailored to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of your clients, ensuring that every individual feels heard and supported.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is mandatory.

• Proven ability to conduct individual and/or couples therapy with significant experience working with diverse age groups.

• Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for completing client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans expediently.
