Apply soon before it closes Description American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a night shift behavioral health position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1+ years of experience. Details Behavioral health hospital setting with 4 units across a 96-bed facility, each housing 20-26 patients Patient population includes adolescents (13-17) on one unit and adults 18+ on three units, including Adult Mental Wellness, Adult Acute, and Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD Patient ratios approximately 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, and Adult Acute units, and 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD Acute stabilization unit with average length of stay of 7-10 days Uses HCS EHR system Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Float requirements to all units as necessary On-call notifications via call/text for shift call-offs or openings Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required BLS and HWC certifications required Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required Behavioral health, medical, or dual diagnosis experience preferred Ability to perform CIWA and COWS assessments preferred Social security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct nursing care within an acute behavioral health stabilization environment Professional demeanor expected on the unit Navy scrub color required; casual wear not permitted Weekly orientation held on Mondays Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
