Registered Nurse - PACU

$1836.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a fast-paced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring safe and smooth recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' recovery status and vital signs continuously post-surgery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions as prescribed to manage pain and symptoms.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to communicate patient progress and any complications.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to emergent situations, providing critical care as needed.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with unit policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
  
  
• 
  At least 2 years of recent PACU or critical care experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage post-anesthesia patient care.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Flexibility to adapt to varying shift schedules.
