Telemetry nurses are responsible for monitoring patients with cardiac conditions. The nurse-to-patient ratio is generally 4:1, occasionally 5:1. Local travelers within a 50-mile radius are not eligible. All candidates must pass a rhythm identification test upon starting, with two attempts allowed. The test will not be multiple choice. Candidates should possess strong cardiac skills, emphasizing their experience in telemetry.
