IT Support Specialist

Position Summary

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support to internal employees while helping maintain and improve the organization's technology environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for end-user technology issues, ensuring timely resolution, excellent customer service, and compliance with organizational standards and policies.

The position supports a variety of end-user technologies, including computers, tablets, mobile devices, printers, business applications, and other workplace technology. Responsibilities also include device lifecycle management, inventory tracking, troubleshooting, and participation in technology deployments and improvement initiatives.

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and end-user technology issues.
• Diagnose and resolve escalated technical problems in a timely manner.
• Support deployment, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of end-user devices.
• Manage technology assets and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while supporting employees across the organization.
• Follow IT operational processes, security requirements, and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology projects and rollouts.
• Document support activities, solutions, and process improvements.

• End-user support and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong desktop and laptop support skills.
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments.
• Knowledge of user account administration and access management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Industry-recognized IT certifications are a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced support environment.
• Self-motivated professional who takes initiative and can work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to lead local IT support efforts and serve as a trusted technology partner.
• Strong attention to detail and asset management experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Noblesville,IN.
