Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter in Kansas City, MO for an exciting direct hire role. Candidates need an Associate degree in CAD or technical discipline with 2-3 years of experience to interpret blueprints and perform structural calculations. Location Kansas City, Missouri Job Type Permanent Salary $68,000 - 70,000 per year Work Hours 8am to 5pm Education Associates Responsibilities Create steel erection, approval, permit, and anchor rod drawings in accordance with project specifications. Detail building parts and produce fabrication drawings from engineering designs and project notes. Perform mathematical calculations using algebra and trigonometry to ensure accurate project detailing. Edit and upload component data into the manufacturing system for release to production. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain schedules.
