Make a difference every day by supporting students as a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year! We’re seeking an enthusiastic educator with a passion for individualized instruction to empower learners and foster a supportive classroom community.

This full-time, in-person contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year, working approximately 33.25 hours each week with students in an instructional/resource setting. Your expertise is essential in creating tailored strategies that help each student reach their unique potential.

Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please provide a current copy upon applying
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, instructional modifications, and resource support
• Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Genuine commitment to inclusive practices and student-focused outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with varying needs in both resource and classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Use evidenced-based strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to facilitate inclusion and student progress
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student growth and support plans
• Maintain accurate records, attend meetings, and complete required documentation
