Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with TABS 3-5 (Teaching Academic and Behavioral Skills) or similar special education classrooms
• Strong commitment to inclusive education principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction for students in grades 3-5 with academic and behavioral challenges
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Use evidence-based strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional growth
• Manage classroom routines, structure, and transitions to promote student engagement and success
• Collaborate with support staff, families, and related service providers
• Document student progress and participate in regular team meetings
