As a Special Education Teacher, you will work in person with a dedicated team to encourage academic progress and personal growth. You’ll have the chance to use your expertise in individualized instruction, resource support, and curriculum adaptation to help students reach their highest potential between August 17, 2026, and May 27, 2027.

Key qualifications:

• Valid and active Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please provide a copy upon applying)
• Prior experience or background in Special Education teaching preferred
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and IEP implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Familiarity with resource and instructional support roles in K-12 settings

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized instructional and resource support to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for student progress and compliance
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development in a structured environment

This is a school-based, in-person position, offering approximately 33.25 hours per week during the academic year. You’ll play an essential part in cultivating an environment where every student can thrive.
