BILLING SPECIALIST (CONSTRUCTION / AIA BILLING)Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a growing construction-focused team in Pittsburgh. This role is ideal for someone with prior construction billing experience who is comfortable managing AIA billing and pay applications in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.The Billing Specialist will work closely with project managers and accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely billing and compliance with contract requirements.BILLING SPECIALIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Billing Specialist will prepare, submit, and track AIA billings, pay applications, and lien waiversCoordinate with project managers and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicingReview contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure billing complianceThe Billing Specialist will resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client billing inquiriesMaintain organized billing records and supporting documentationSupport month-end close activities related to billing and accounts receivableThe Billing Specialist will assist with collections and follow up on outstanding invoices as neededQUALIFICATIONS OF THE BILLING SPECIALIST ROLE2+ years of billing experience, preferably within the construction industryHands-on experience with AIA billing and pay applications strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlinesProficiency with accounting or ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentWHY JOIN?Competitive salary of $55,000–$65,000Direct interaction with project management and leadership teamsOpportunity to utilize and expand your construction billing expertiseLong-term growth potential within a well-established organization
