As a lead engineer, you will guide teams in developing groundbreaking solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in defense and mission-critical systems.The WorkThe position is for an experienced Systems Engineer Lead who will provide leadership and guidance for activities on the MH-60 Naval Helicopter Program. In this role you will:Lead and coordinate with a complex, multidisciplinary team of engineersYou will contribute to system design and requirements development, ensuring system architectures, interfaces, and behaviors align with customer and program needs.Support major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDRDevelop Basis of Estimates for United States Navy contract proposal(s)Act as a Control Account Manager, performing all necessary aspects in Earned Value Management reportingCommunicate technical status and program progress to internal leadership and external customers.Please note:This position is based in Owego, NY.
