\nFirm: >25b Private Equity and Credit Fund in Midtown,
\nHYBRID 3 DAYS IN OFFICE
\nTitle: Controller (#2 to the CFO)
\nCompensation: 250-350k total comp (Base + Bonus)
\nLooking for: 9-20 years of experience from a hedge, Pe or Credit fund.
\n \nA NYC based Private Equity Firm (Closed and Open ended funds) is looking to bring on an Controller to join their team.
\n \nThis will be the #2 to the CFO
\n \nThe ideal profile is for a candidate with 9++ years of experience from another firm
\n \nThe firm has been a great track record and name in the industry while employing over 60 people. They have a multi-strategy approach doing credit. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to have exposure to all.
\n \n-Responsible for month end close and accuracy of fund accounting, reporting, analysis and special projects, including developing a comprehensive understanding of products traded and processes utilized.
\n \n-Oversee business valuations for illiquid portfolio company investments using multiple valuation techniques and update quarterly and annual valuation memos
\n \n-Managed entire accounting process for two investment vehicles, including coordination of the month-end close process, daily and weekly estimate PnL reporting to front office
\n \n-Take part in investor relations including reports and occasionally dealing with the investors directly as needed
\n \n-Monitor illiquid investment valuation models
\n \n- Assist deal teams on technical accounting reviews and legal diligence of current transactions and acquisitions in pipeline
\n \n-Review capital call analysis
\n \n-Work directly with portfolio company CFOs on finance matters
\n \n-Create automation and work with IT and Consultants on automation
