Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystThe Financial Analyst assists with monthly income statement preparation, review, and analysis. This position will maintain reporting for stakeholders in operational departments and contribute to the preparation of executive reporting packages. This position will work closely with department leadership to evaluate monthly financial statements and will assist in the creation and consolidation of the full company annual budget. They will also respond to inquiries from Directors of Financial Operations and Controllers and provide analytical support for financial reports.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Support the monthly close process by preparing journal entries, collaborating with the accounting team, and providing account analysisPrepare various monthly and weekly reports, including executive financial reporting packages, operational department financial statements, and labor reportingParticipate in the annual budget process by providing input and budget analysis as neededCollaborate with various components of the organization to provide detailed financial analysis of monthly financial statements and Travel and Entertainment spend relative to budget, year over year, and trending dataDevelop a thorough understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials and FCCS reporting systemsDevelop ad hoc reporting upon request and improve existing reporting tools or methodsAnalyze financial information from all components and levels of the organization, including entity, regional, and departmental viewsQualificationsRequirements:Required Education and/or Experience:BS in Accounting or related field1-3 years of Accounting or Finance related experienceFinancial analysis experience preferredOracle Fusion, FCCS, Hyperion Planning, SmartView, and EPM experience a plusRequisite Abilities and/or Skills:Ability to compile, interpret, and present complex financial analysis and projectionsKnowledge of accounting/finance systems and related applicationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredAbility to be self-motivated, accountable, and action-orientedStrong attention to detail and accuracyProfessional oral and written communication skillsCompensation: $61-$77k plus $1k bonus potential per quarterThe company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
