Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Fall River Mills, California. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,226 per week – $2,339 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (4:00 pm–4:30 am). Setting: Critical Access Hospital. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Report to the on-duty Nursing Supervisor; collaborate with the ER team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize data collection; promptly notify the on-call physician and charge nurse of abnormal findings.
- Develop and implement an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team; perform treatments as ordered and monitor patient responses.
- Perform evidence-based procedures and tasks (e.g., EKGs, blood draws, IV starts) while keeping the work area clean, stocked, and organized.
- Provide patient and family education tailored to clinical status; document assessment findings, interventions, and progress toward problem resolution.
- Initiate emergency resuscitation measures as needed; maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Current California RN license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification; NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire date.
- 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER and multi-task effectively in a rural critical access hospital setting.
