Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit registered nurse position is based in Nashville, Tennessee. This role entails providing critical care in a 32-bed cardiac-focused unit specializing in cardiogenic shock patients. This position requires candidates to demonstrate strong cardiac and critical care experience, including skills in PA catheterization and hemodynamic monitoring. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment. The shift schedule involves 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications; cardiac experience; strong critical care background; proficiency in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, CRRT preferred; Meditech electronic medical records system; current RN license.

  • Dress code: Scrubs (galaxy blue, red, black); scrub jackets or vests only
  • Unique features: Growing cardiogenic shock program with specialized providers, excellent teamwork, engaged staff, and 12 beds allocated for cardiogenic shock patients

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech and Epic electronic health records; trauma level 2 experience; teaching hospital background.

• Float: Float rotation may be required depending on unit census.
