Description

• Conduct patient evaluations within either an inpatient or outpatient environment and formulate personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and function
• Engage collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercise regimens
• Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with established facility and regulatory standards
• Take part in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
• Skill in treating patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Proficiency in digital charting and clinical documentation systems
