Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Achievement Learning is seeking qualified and experienced pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants to join our growing practice. SLPA's must possess strong organizational skills, be family-centered, have a play-based approach to therapy, and enjoy working under the direct supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist. Responsibilities and Qualifications Assist the SLP with speech, language and hearing screenings/assessments without interpretation. Provide direct treatment by following plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP. Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP. Assist in the collection of data. Sign and initial treatment notes for review. Maintain a caseload of an average of 30 treatment hours per week. Assist with departmental operations (collecting insurance forms, documenting visits, collecting required signatures from parents). Have completed an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant training program. Hold a current SLPA license. Hold a current fingerprint clearance card or be in the process of obtaining one. Hold current CPR certification or be in the process of obtaining one. Have liability insurance. Complete Article 9 training.
