Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position in Maysville, KY, requiring cardiac experience and night shift availability.

Job Details

• Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit (Intermediate Care Unit) within a 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital,
• General and cardiac specialty unit with 12 beds and a 4:1 patient ratio,
• Adult and geriatric patient population,
• Cardiac experience required; experience removing post-cath stents is a plus,
• EMR: Meditech/Medhost,
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,
• Every other weekend required,
• No on-call requirements,
• Floating required to telemetry and critical care at times,

Job Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Cardiac nursing experience required,
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required,
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere while on assignment,
• 8-week contract
