About the Role:

The Structured Family Caregiver plays a vital role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals within a family setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This position involves creating and maintaining a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment tailored to the unique needs of each family member. The caregiver will coordinate daily activities, manage healthcare routines, and facilitate communication between family members and healthcare professionals. By implementing structured care plans, the caregiver helps promote independence and quality of life for those under their care. Ultimately, this role is essential in fostering a stable and healthy family dynamic through attentive and organized caregiving.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving certification preferred, not compulsory
• Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and first aid.
• Experience in caregiving or related roles within a family or healthcare setting.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with local caregiving regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of specialized training in elder care, disability support, or pediatric care.
• Experience working with individuals with chronic illnesses or special needs.
• Strong understanding of mental health support and crisis intervention techniques.
• CPR and advanced first aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and caregiving documentation software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on the specific needs of family members.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility support.
• Monitor health conditions and communicate any changes or concerns to healthcare providers and family members promptly.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the mental and social well-being of those in care.
• Maintain accurate records of care activities, health observations, and any incidents to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Coordinate with medical professionals, therapists, and social workers to align care strategies and interventions.
• Ensure the living environment is safe, clean, and conducive to the health and comfort of family members.
