About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Lead Compliance Counsel to play a key role in the development and implementation of global and domestic compliance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and modernizing the company's worldwide compliance portfolio, with a focus on advancing innovation, strengthening performance, and elevating operations. This pivotal position involves working closely with the General Counsel and C-suite on critical business decisions, M&A initiatives, and transactional commercial strategy. The role also includes acting as the chief legal advisor for antitrust matters, ethical conduct, conflicts of interest, and key regulatory risk areas, as well as directing the management of regulatory bodies and overseeing internal investigations. Applicants for this role at the company should have a J.D. from an accredited law school, with at least 12 years of legal expertise in both competition/antitrust and compliance. Experience in this field is essential, particularly in the context of working with the DOJ, Big Law, and in-house. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing senior leadership counseling, be adept at problem-solving critical business decisions, and have a strong understanding of the overall business to effectively integrate legal, compliance, and antitrust/competition principles into the organization's workflows. The role also requires the ability to develop and uphold company-wide governance tools, provide training, and counsel different business units on various legal matters as needed.
