Audience Strategy Operations Manager

Cella is seeking a strategic and operational Audience Strategy Operations Manager to serve as the subject matter expert for audience capabilities, agency workflows, and platform management on behalf of our client. This unique role bridges the gap between high-level client advisory and hands-on operational execution, giving you the platform to shape the continuous evolution of media audience capabilities.Responsibilities:Audience Strategy & Advisory: Serving as the subject matter expert for audience strategy; translating advertiser objectives and campaign goals into actionable, first-party data targeting recommendations across channels in partnership with Sales and Account Management.Operations & Workflow Management: Owning the end-to-end audience operating model from initial request to creation, distribution, platform hygiene, and deprecation while managing day-to-day workflows with external agency and tech partners.Platform Governance & Activation: Overseeing distribution across publisher platforms, maintaining operational naming/documentation standards, and acting as the main point of escalation for complex activation issues.Product & Capability Development: Evaluating current audience offerings to identify gaps, partnering cross-functionally with Product and MarTech teams to prioritize capabilities, and assessing emerging ad-tech tools and clean rooms.Performance Analysis & Optimization: Tracking audience-level performance across campaigns, partnering with Measurement teams to connect targeting to outcomes, and developing frameworks to optimize future campaigns.Cross-Functional Leadership: Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams (Sales, Data, Media) and external vendor partners to streamline execution and drive continuous improvement.Qualifications:Experience: 5+ years of experience in retail media, digital advertising, audience strategy, media activation, ad technology, or data strategy.Technical & Platform Knowledge: Strong background in audience segmentation, identity, activation, syndication, and digital media ecosystems. Hands-on experience with audience management platforms, identity providers, CDPs, or related AdTech/MarTech tools.Data Strategy: Demonstrated experience developing and executing audience strategies using first-party data and translating complex advertiser goals into tactical plans.Partner Management: Proven ability to manage agency, technology, and publisher partners while establishing operational standards and workflows.Core Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent analytical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.Preferred Experience: Experience working within a retail media network (RMN), media agency, or retailer. Experience with tools like LiveRamp, Adobe, SAS, clean rooms, or audience marketplaces.
