Title: Manager, Audience Operations Analyst

Location: Hybrid – Bolingbrook, IL / Chicago-area preferred

Hours : 40/week

Pay Range : $39.29/hr.

Our client is seeking a Manager, Audience Operations Analyst to lead audience strategy, activation, and operations across its retail media ecosystem. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in audience targeting, translating advertiser objectives into actionable strategies while ensuring audiences can be effectively built, distributed, activated, and measured across channels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop audience strategies and targeting recommendations based on advertiser objectives, campaign goals, and first-party data.
• Own audience workflows from request and development through distribution, activation, maintenance, and retirement.
• Partner with Sales, Account Management, Product, Data, Measurement, Media, and external agency/publisher partners.
• Oversee audience activation readiness and troubleshoot distribution or platform issues that could impact campaign launches.
• Establish audience taxonomy, documentation, governance, and operational best practices.
• Evaluate audience performance and translate insights into future targeting recommendations.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve audience products, capabilities, processes, and scalability.
• Stay current on retail media, identity, privacy, first-party data, and AdTech trends.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in retail media, digital advertising, audience strategy, media activation, AdTech, data strategy, or a related field.
• Experience developing and activating audience strategies using first-party data.
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, identity, syndication, and digital media ecosystems.
• Experience with audience platforms, CDPs, identity providers, clean rooms, or related AdTech/MarTech solutions;
  LiveRamp, Adobe, or SASexperience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally and managing agency, technology, publisher, or external partners.
• Ability to translate complex audience and data concepts into clear recommendations for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
