Our client is part of a growing group of steel companies operating across the U.S. and Canada. This is more than a Production Manager position at a single fabrication facility, it is an opportunity to join a larger organization with multiple companies, strong executive leadership, and long-term career mobility. The leadership team operates collaboratively using EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), including strategic planning, Rocks, leadership meetings, and cross-company initiatives. The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Production Manager will have responsibility for the overall performance of the fabrication operation.
Core Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Production planning and scheduling
• Resource Utilization: Labor, equipment, and material utilization
• Performance Oversight: Quality, safety, cost, and productivity
• Team Leadership: Leadership of supervision and maintenance teams
• KPI Management: Production KPIs and continuous improvement
• Process Improvement: Improving manufacturing methods and project flow
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with estimating, purchasing, logistics, quality, HR, and executive leadership

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proven steel fabrication leader with deep operational experience who understands both the people and production sides of the business.
Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Significant leadership experience within steel fabrication
• Management Experience: Strong production and personnel-management experience
• Plan Reading: Ability to read plans and fabrication drawings
• Analytical Skills: Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Continuous Improvement: Experience driving continuous improvement
• Leadership Presence: The leadership presence to operate as a key member of the management team
