The Organization

Our client is an established structural seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead field execution across multiple structural and miscellaneous projects. This firm offers an opportunity to become a key leader within the organization.
The Role

This is not simply a project management role. The position combines field leadership, project management, and operational responsibility, with accountability for field execution across multiple projects. The role requires leadership of superintendents and union crews while maintaining control of manpower, scheduling, safety, equipment, costs, and overall field performance.

We're looking for someone who has progressed beyond managing an individual project and is ready to take ownership of field operations across an organisation. You should be equally comfortable walking a Our client erection site, leading field personnel, solving construction problems, and discussing schedules, manpower, costs, and project performance with company leadership.
Core Responsibilities

• Field Oversight: Oversee field operations across multiple concurrent Our client projects.
• Team Leadership: Lead superintendents and union field personnel.
• Resource Coordination: Coordinate manpower, cranes, equipment, deliveries, and subcontractors.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor schedules, productivity, job costs, and project performance.
• Document Review: Review drawings, specifications, and field conditions.
• Change Orders: Support change-order identification and pricing.
• Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with general contractors and customers.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with project management and estimating.
• Safety Accountability: Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and accountability.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 10+ years of structural Our client, Our client erection, or closely related experience.
• Multi-Project Leadership: Experience overseeing multiple projects, superintendents, or field teams.
• Our client Knowledge: Strong knowledge of structural and miscellaneous Our client erection.
• Union Management: Experience managing union labour.
• Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of cranes, rigging, equipment, and erection logistics.
• Planning Skills: Strong understanding of scheduling, manpower planning, job costing, and change orders.
• Drawing Literacy: Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Safety Certification: OSHA 30 preferred.

Travel

The position supports projects throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania and requires regular travel to active job sites.
