The preferred location for this role is Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial leadership, support, and analysis to the Power Tools, Digital, and Service and Repair Center businesses. Key Responsibilities Partnering with key finance and non-finance team members, supporting the monthly close process, supporting reporting and variance analysis, and providing project support. Collaborating with business partners to understand cost of goods sold, interpret variances, understand trends and impacts, and develop appropriate corrective actions. Support all aspects of financial updates including the business plan, long range financial plan, forecasts, actual vs budget reviews, ad-hoc analyses, and serve as a key point of contact for finance and non-finance business partners. Support standard cost updates for manufactured and purchased products. Support internal controls compliance and any government surveys. Provide financial support for innovation processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and special projects. Perform other related duties, as required. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. A minimum of 4 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required. Cost Accounting experience preferred. Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills required (i.e., Pivot Tables, Formulas, XLOOKUP functions). Experience with SAP is preferred. Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, global environment is required. This role is located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and may require up to 5% travel. Required Skills None specified.
