Sr IT Analyst

As a Sr IT Analyst at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will provide support for various projects and initiatives, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute project plans, and ensure that all engineering requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Own and manage AOP planning for the Engineering IT tower, including budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking and cost optimization initiatives. Drive financial forecasting accuracy by reconciling planned vs actuals, managing budget transfers and chargebacks, and reallocating unused funds to optimize spending. Establish governance across contracts by validating SOWs, negotiating cost, and performing analysis on O&M spend to achieve productivity targets. Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights through dashboards and variance reports on O&M spending, identifying trends to reduce purchased services costs and support strategic decision‑making. Provide financial forecasting for investment projects and support cost evaluation for multiple projects to assess M&A effects. Lead supplier governance to ensure support partners adhere to contract terms and receive services at agreed service levels. Lead the management of contracts and licenses with service owners. Provide insights into data and executive leadership for decision making. Facilitate MORs, all‑hands, business reviews, change management, dashboards, reports, staff meetings, QBRs, and align business IT, finance and other stakeholders. Support the Chief of Staff on strategic initiatives, handle cross‑functional coordination, and drive follow‑ups on critical asks. Drive tower CMDB accuracy and completeness to manage changes, minimize service disruption risk, and optimize IT resources and investments. Program Governance Act as the driver of tower ops excellence, focusing on reducing risks, improving service levels, and ensuring engineering services are delivered with greater agility. Assess ideas approved in the Annual Operating Plan, ensure artifact completeness, and track them to project conversion. Ensure high data quality and consistency in IT PPM for informed decision‑making and improved project outcomes. Monitor project progress, ensure actual expenditure aligns with budgets, assess and mitigate risks, and evaluate progress against milestones. Track benefits submitted with each investment project and ensure realized benefits are reported. Monitor applied labor, ensuring projects allocate internal labor as forecasted and prevent resource overload. Collaborate with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department. Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in an Operations Excellence (OpEx) role, especially in aerospace or engineering sectors. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution. Proven expertise in supporting cross‑functional IT teams. Experience with data analytics tools to provide insights and facilitate executive decision‑making. Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
