Pharmacist in Newark, NJ

This opportunity involves supporting a mail order pharmacy that ships primarily to Illinois, specializing in weight loss, hair loss, skin solutions, and additional health products. The role requires a pharmacist licensed in both New Jersey and Illinois, with a solid foundation in non-sterile compounding.


Location: Newark, NJ

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 20-30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and review prescription orders for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, focusing on non-sterile compounding
• Maintain accurate patient records and inventory
• Provide consultation on medication therapy as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist licenses in both New Jersey and Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in non-sterile compounding
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations is a plus
