Account Manager (Inside Sales)
PowerPak | Congers, NY | Full-time, On-site
Base: $70,000 to $80,000 plus uncapped commission | OTE year one: $120,000
About the role
PowerPak is a B2B distributor of civil and safety supplies serving contractors, municipalities, and utility contractors. We deliver same-day across the region and are expanding nationally.
You will own a defined book of customers and grow it through outbound engagement, discovery, and category expansion. This is not an order-taking role. Success comes from proactive calling, learning how your customers buy, and deliberately increasing their order frequency, product mix, and wallet share.
What the job actually looks like
Your 8:00 to 10:00 AM outbound call block is the most important two hours of your day. Quotes go out within 30 minutes of the inquiry. You will complete 50+ calls and 13 real conversations with decision-makers daily, not voicemails or emails. You will have a Business Development Manager coaching you in daily huddles and a weekly Friday strategy session on your book.

What you will do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts with clear upside
- Uncover how customers operate, what they stock, and what is coming next
- Position PowerPak's speed, inventory depth, and reliability against the competition
- Quote fast, follow up with urgency, and close consistently
- Keep clean CRM data and manage opportunities through the funnel
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally high-activity or commodity-driven
- Proven ability to cold call and develop underdeveloped accounts
- Experience owning a book against activity and revenue goals
- High urgency, comfortable on the phone, genuinely consultative
- Thrives with structure, metrics, and daily coaching
Nice to have: selling to construction, industrial, or contractor customers; inside sales in a price-sensitive market; NetSuite ERP.
Compensation and benefits
- Base $70,000 to $80,000, plus uncapped performance-based commission
- OTE year one: $120,000

Schedule and location
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Fully on-site at 225 NY-303 #108, Congers, NY 10920. In-office presence is an essential function of this role. Extended hours may be required during peak season.
