Role Description This contract Marketing Intern role is a hybrid position based in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. The intern will support day-to-day marketing activities, including assisting with market research, gathering customer insights, and helping develop basic marketing strategies and campaigns. Responsibilities include contributing to social media and other marketing content, supporting sales and outreach efforts, and helping maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing customers. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consistent messaging and a strong brand presence for GetGlazz’s AI-powered security solutions. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a startup environment. What You’ll Do Content Creation & Filming: Script, shoot, and edit short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) highlighting GLAZZ products, tech features, and behind-the-scenes startup life. Social Media Management: engage with our community, and monitor trends to grow brand awareness. In-Person Marketing: Represent GLAZZ at local San Diego events, pop-up demos, and community activations to showcase our AI technology in real time. Growth & Campaign Strategy: Collaborate directly with the founding team to brainstorm creative campaigns and analyze post performance. Qualifications Located in or near San Diego, CA with reliable transportation for on-site shoots and local events. Strong skills in video shooting and editing using mobile devices or cameras (CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools). Deep understanding of social media trends, viral formats, and digital platforms. Comfortable filming in public Highly energetic, self-motivated, and excited about AI, tech, or smart home products. Candidates should possess Marketing Strategy skills to assist in planning campaigns, positioning messages, and identifying target segments. Interest in technology, AI, or security solutions and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and familiarity with social media platforms.
