What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery in the CVOR unit
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management
• Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
• Support emergency response in the CVOR environment when necessary

What You Need

• Current Louisiana RN license & BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience, including CVOR preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and perioperative care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic clinical situations
