Receiving Associate Day Shift

Job Details Job Location: GFI Northwest - SUMNER, WA 98390 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School or GED Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Warehouse Overview As a valued member of our dedicated warehouse team, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, specialty food items to our customers. In this fast-paced and physically active environment, your day will be filled with tasks that keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Unloading incoming shipments, accurately receiving and sorting products, and preparing them for timely delivery. Helping to organize, stage, and transport orders to ensure they’re ready for pickup by professional delivery drivers. Operating an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders. Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets for delivery. Viewing prompts on screens and following directions for tasks. Qualifications Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to push/pull up to 30 lbs. of force. Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment ranging from 0 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Must be able to ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 inches from the floor. Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision. Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Able to stand for long periods of time and reach and bend as required. Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience. RF handheld device experience. Pallet jack and forklift experience preferred.
