Job Details Position: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with every other weekend Patient Ratio: 1:1-2 Float: May be required to float within the organization as needed Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU or critical care nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Epic charting experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications AHA certifications only Strong experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring Competency with ventilator management and ICU equipment Experience caring for critically ill adult patients in a high-acuity ICU setting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Intensive Care Unit Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes using strong critical thinking and clinical judgment Care for patients with multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure Manage ventilated patients and perform advanced ICU interventions as needed Document accurately and efficiently in Epic electronic health record (EHR) Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Utilize specialized critical care equipment such as CRRT, cardiac monitoring systems, and ventilators Deliver compassionate, detail-oriented care in a high-acuity adult ICU environment Apply now for this Columbus, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and advance your career in critical care today.
