Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, couples, families, and groups tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

• Conduct thorough client assessments through interviews, gathering insights into their social, personal, environmental, and health histories.

• Develop and implement treatment plans that address psychological issues and foster emotional well-being, with a focus on those related to grief, loss, and chronic illnesses.

• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring consistent communication and availability for client sessions while maintaining high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on supporting hospice patients and their families, experiencing varying emotional states due to terminal illnesses. You will be addressing a range of concerns including, but not limited to, coping mechanisms for grief, anxiety related to end-of-life issues, and family dynamics during critical moments.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
\n
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on mental health issues including grief, depression, and addiction.

• Proven experience working within a hospice or palliative care context is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds and situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
