Radiology Interventional Technologist/Special Procedure Technician (Fulltime/Permanent)

Radiology Interventional Technologist / Special Procedure Tech Position at our Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full Time / Day Shift. Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by the hospital that begin on your first day of employment. Radiology Interventional Technologists (RIT) in the CVL work in a four‑person team, operate Philips fluoroscopy units, set up and operate intravascular imaging (Philips IVUS, Abbott OCT), atherectomy equipment (rotoblator, CSI, Shockwave, laser), thrombectomy equipment (Penumbra, AngioJet, Inari), and circulate during procedures. Under the direct supervision of the physician, they provide cardiovascular/radiologic care to patients for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders; assist the physician as required and perform related work; monitor radiation safety during procedures. Ideal candidate: ambitious, open to growth in percutaneous interventional treatment, compassionate and kind—ready to help patients at their lowest point. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Oregon Radiographer License upon hire National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab.
