Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Pre-Op and PACU/Recovery Unit RN!

Job Description:


- Join a high-energy combined Pre-Op and PACU unit
- Enjoy a dynamic 3x12 hour day shift schedule (07:00 - 19:00)
- Engage in meaningful work with diverse patient populations: pediatrics to geriatrics
- Be part of a busy unit with an average daily census of 35-50 patients
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team
- Required to take 2-3 call shifts per month, with a quick 30-minute callback requirement
- Potential to float between Pre-Op and PACU settings
- Daily Roles Include:
- Assessing patients pre and post-surgery
- Administering medications and managing pain
- Performing straight urinary catheterizations
- Conducting airway assessments
- Proficiently using Omnicell medication system

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in ER, ICU, or PACU
- Must have Pre-Op and PACU experience
- Proficiency with EPIC
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Previous charge experience preferred

Skills That Shine:
- Critical Care Experience: Knowledge in surgical services including Bariatrics, Cardio Thoracic, General, and more
- Advanced clinical skills: Emergency medications, IV management, dysrhythmia recognition
- Familiarity with robotics and outpatient services like orthopedic surgeries
