Compensation for this role ranges from $35 to $37 per hour, depending on your experience. The assignment consists of 27.5 hours per week, providing a stable and consistent schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or higher; OR 48 college units plus a High School Diploma; OR passing the CBEST and a High School Diploma; OR passing the instructional aide exam and a High School Diploma
• Flexibility to assist with a variety of student needs, including toileting, diapering, feeding, and g-tube feeding
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all students
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in a school setting is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support individual students and small groups with academic, behavioral, and physical needs as directed by teaching staff
• Provide personal care, such as toileting, diapering, feeding, and g-tube feeding, as required for assigned students
• Foster a safe, respectful classroom environment and promote positive social interactions
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other team members to implement student goals and educational strategies
• Assist in setting up classroom materials, adapting assignments, and documenting student progress
