Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Austin, Texas. The organization is seeking a contract RN for the Emergency Department to support patient care during 12-hour night shifts with a weekend rotation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM7:00 AM), 12 hours; weekend rotation; 36 minimum hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Emergency Nursing course Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Experience requirement: Greater than 2 years experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None provided.
• Additional Information: Contract assignment for 13 weeks. No call requirements are listed. General unit skills/procedures performed may include LP, intubations, TNK, lac repair, suture removal, and splinting. Dress code requirements include navy blue scrubs and a navy blue zip-up sweater; pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable. Weekend staffing includes 4 shifts on a schedule.
