Safety Coordinator Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 70,000.00 / annually
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Interact with all Pecora employees in person in Harleysville and Hatfield, virtually only when necessary, and by email as follow-up and documentation.
• Mentor to all first line supervisors as related to all EHS issues and responsibilities.
• Develop formal training for large groups and small departments and write new policies and procedures.
• Follow up with one-on-one training and reinforcement.
• Develop or obtain a Learning Management System (LMS) to document all training, including one-on-one, small group, annual refresher, and corrective action training.
• Work with supervisors and managers to complete corrective actions recommended by safety audits and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain a modern (electronic, software, computer-based) inspection system for documenting all inspections.
• Evaluate a Behavior Based Safety System.
• Continually lead improvement efforts to ensure that Safety is a priority.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Safety Coordinator Qualifications:

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and able to lift packages weighing 20-25 pounds, including 50 -75% of time in Production and Warehouse areas.
• Bachelor's degree in a Safety, Human Resources or Engineering-related field preferred, but will consider equivalent relevant experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
• Safety or EHS Professional with three to five years' experience, preferably in a chemical manufacturing facility

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
