As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and support badge processes. Requirements Valid Driver's License (C123): Candidates must hold a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements to facilitate transportation and mobility as required by the position. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure secure access to facilities. Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required to maintain safety and security measures within the organization. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets, as these tools are essential for daily operations and communication. CPR Certification (B205): A valid CPR certification is required to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and clients in emergency situations. Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders. Job Schedule: Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; document visitor activity, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports and logs. Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, policy concerns, and response activities. Minimum Requirements An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
