The Evergreen Center welcomes all individuals from various backgrounds and experiences through cultural equity, inclusion, and diversity.Job DescriptionThe Chief Operating Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer.Operational Responsibilities:Oversight of the day-to-day operations of Evergreen Center’s Residential Treatment programResponsible for the implementation and monitoring of activities that support the Board approved strategic planChairs Executive Team and Manager’s Meetings for the Children’s Residential Treatment ProgramResponsible for the implementation and monitoring of administrative operational policies and proceduresMonitors and oversees activities related to personnel including training, evaluations, promotions/ demotions, schedule changes, conflict resolution, injury reporting and follow upActs as a liaison between the Evergreen Center’s Children’s Residential Treatment program and HR, IT, Facilities, QA, and other support teams as the on-site point of contactClinical Responsibilities:Review and monitoring of behavioral clinical activitiesReporting of restraints, time outs, and other clinical activities to licensing agencies as required by regulationCoordinates clinical development activities and training in partnership with other executives and the Director of Professional DevelopmentAdditional Responsibilities:When necessary, chairs internal review teams and provides follow upParticipates in the Parent Advisory Council and Human Rights Committee for Children’s Residential TreatmentQualifications• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, counseling, psychology, social work, education administration, healthcare administration, or a related field required. Doctoral degree or current enrollment in a doctoral program preferred.• BCBA certification and Massachusetts LABA licensure, or other independent clinical licensure such as LMHC, LICSW, licensed psychologist, or a comparable credential, preferred.• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in leadership, clinical services, operations management, or a combination of these areas.• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and experience in a residential setting are both highly preferred.• Demonstrated ability to oversee multidisciplinary programs, personnel, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and organizational operations.• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with individuals served, families, employees, senior leadership, governing bodies, regulatory agencies, public safety officials, and community partners.• Strong leadership, professional judgment, problem solving, organizational, and decision making skills.Additional InformationPlease visit our website at to learn more about our organization!Selection for employment is made regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, handicap, genetic information, someone who is a member of, applies to perform, or has an obligation to perform, service in a uniformed military service of the United States, including the National Guard, on the basis of that membership, application or obligation; veteran status, or any other bases protected by law.
