Job Description
We are seeking a Bilingual Quality Engineer to support product development, manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment. This individual will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to improve processes, investigate quality issues, support new product introductions, and ensure product quality, safety, reliability, and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of Quality Engineering or Quality experience, or equivalent Quality Engineering certification/experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with corrective actions, nonconformances, and quality investigations.
- Minimum 3 years of New Product Introduction (NPI) experience with an understanding of NPI processes.
- 3-5 years of experience leading or participating in FMEA activities.
- Experience using root cause analysis and investigative tools, including Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and similar methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Bilingual communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support efforts to mitigate and eliminate quality issues as product and process changes are implemented.
- Review, revise, and create quality documentation, including SQS, SQRs, and work instructions.
- Contribute to SCAR, NCMR, and ICAR investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Train and mentor Quality Control personnel on quality processes and procedures.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to develop and maintain product development quality matrices.
- Support IQ, OQ, and PQ validation activities for new and existing products and processes.
- Create, manage, and analyze Manufacturing and Quality KPI data and trends.
- Contribute to risk assessments, FMEAs, and ongoing risk analysis.
- Support quality initiatives throughout the NPI and manufacturing lifecycle.
- Collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement and product quality.
