Marketing CoordinatorThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting Sarma's overall marketing initiatives, brand presence, business-development efforts, client communications, events, and promotional activities.This position works closely with Executive Management and the Sales team to develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, support client retention, generate new business opportunities, and promote Sarma's products and services.The Marketing Coordinator will assist with digital and traditional marketing, social media, email campaigns, website content, marketing materials, industry events, sponsorships, lead-generation campaigns, and sales support. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a professional and consistent company image.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist Executive Management in developing and implementing Sarma's annual marketing plan.Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns supporting company growth and business-development objectives.Create targeted campaigns for specific industries, prospects, and service lines.Coordinate marketing activities with Sales to support prospecting and lead-generation efforts.Develop campaign calendars and maintain deadlines for marketing initiatives.Track campaign performance and recommend adjustments based on results.Research market trends, competitors, industries, and potential business opportunities.Identify new opportunities to increase Sarma's visibility within targeted markets.Digital Marketing & Social MediaManage and maintain Sarma's professional social media presence.Develop and schedule relevant social media content.Create content highlighting company services, employees, events, community involvement, industry information, and organizational accomplishments.Monitor social media engagement and maintain professional responses when appropriate.Assist with maintaining and updating company website content.Coordinate website updates with appropriate internal or external resources.Monitor website activity and digital marketing performance.Assist with search engine, online advertising, and other digital marketing initiatives when appropriate.Maintain consistent branding across digital platforms.Email Marketing & Client CommunicationsDevelop and coordinate email marketing campaigns.Maintain appropriate prospect and client marketing distribution lists.Create marketing communications promoting Sarma's services and capabilities.Assist with newsletters, company announcements, event communications, and promotional campaigns.Coordinate client communications with Sales and Executive Management.Track email campaign performance, including delivery, open, click, and response rates when available.Ensure communications maintain Sarma's professional brand and messaging.Marketing Materials & BrandingDevelop, update, and maintain brochures, flyers, presentation materials, sales sheets, service information, promotional materials, event materials, and digital marketing content.Maintain consistent use of Sarma's logo, colors, messaging, and brand standards.Coordinate printing and production of marketing materials.Maintain an organized inventory of current marketing and promotional materials.Work with vendors when outside design, printing, advertising, or promotional services are required.Review materials for accuracy, professionalism, and consistency before distribution.Sales & Business Development SupportWork closely with Sales Representatives to support prospecting and business-development initiatives.Develop marketing materials for targeted sales campaigns.Assist with researching prospective companies and industries.Help develop prospect lists and targeted marketing campaigns.Support lead-generation initiatives.Coordinate marketing follow-up from conferences, events, referrals, website inquiries, and other lead sources.Assist with preparation of presentations and materials for prospective client meetings.Support Sales with customized marketing materials when appropriate.Track marketing-generated leads and their progression through the sales process.Events, Conferences & SponsorshipsCoordinate Sarma's participation in conferences, trade shows, networking events, sponsorships, luncheons, and community events.Manage event registration, deadlines, promotional materials, displays, giveaways, and other logistical requirements.Coordinate attendance with employees and management.Ensure appropriate marketing materials are available for each event.Assist with promoting Sarma's participation before and after events.Track leads and contacts generated from events.Coordinate post-event follow-up with the Sales team.Maintain an annual calendar of conferences, sponsorships, and marketing events.Community & Corporate BrandingAssist in promoting Sarma's community involvement, charitable activities, employee events, sponsorships, and organizational accomplishments.Coordinate appropriate photographs, announcements, and social media content for company activities.Help strengthen Sarma's presence within the San Antonio business community and industries served by the company.Ensure external communications accurately and professionally represent the organization.Vendor & Budget CoordinationObtain quotes for marketing materials, promotional items, advertising, printing, events, and other marketing expenditures.Coordinate with approved marketing vendors.Track marketing expenses against approved budgets.Review invoices for accuracy and submit them through the appropriate approval process.Maintain records of marketing expenditures and vendor agreements.Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness while controlling costs.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field preferred.Relevant professional marketing experience may be considered in place of a degree.2-4 years of marketing, communications, business-development, or related experience preferred.Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and projects.Experience with social media and digital marketing platforms.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.Experience with CRM, email marketing, graphic design, or content-management platforms preferred.Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment preferred.General ExpectationsThe Marketing Coordinator is expected to take ownership of assigned marketing initiatives from planning through completion.The position requires someone who can balance creativity with organization and measurable business results. Marketing activities should support Sarma's overall business objectives and contribute to brand awareness, client relationships, lead generation, and new business development.The Marketing Coordinator is expected to proactively identify marketing opportunities rather than waiting solely for assignments from management and should regularly present ideas and recommendations for strengthening Sarma's presence in its target markets.All external marketing materials and communications must accurately and professionally represent Sarma and comply with applicable company approval procedures.
