Machinist
We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled, hands-on machinist who can confidently set up and operate CNC machinery, make adjustments, edit G&M code, and troubleshoot machining issues with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machining equipment.
Make machine offsets, tooling adjustments, and program modifications as needed.
Edit and troubleshoot G&M code at the machine.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
Select appropriate tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds.
Inspect finished and in-process parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and make adjustments to improve part quality and cycle times.
Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow company procedures.
Required:
Minimum 5 years of machining experience .
Strong CNC setup and machining experience.
Ability to make machine adjustments and troubleshoot machining issues.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
Experience editing G&M code at the machine.
Strong understanding of cutting tools, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
Preferred, but not required:
Experience with tool and die machining .
Experience using WorkNC or other CAM software.
Experience machining complex or close-tolerance components.
Experience working with a variety of CNC machining centers and controls.
We're looking for someone who can bring experience, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail to the shop. The right candidate doesn't need to check every box, but should be comfortable taking ownership of setups, making adjustments, troubleshooting problems, and producing quality parts efficiently.
