Safety Specialist

Position Title: Safety Specialist Salary: $90,000-$110,000 / DOE + Bonus About: Build a career where safety drives success on some of the West's most impactful industrial construction projects! As a Safety Specialist, you'll perform jobsite safety inspections, conduct training, support project planning, maintain compliance documentation, investigate incidents, and partner closely with project teams to ensure every job is completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: Travel to construction sites throughout the Western United States to conduct safety inspections, audits, and identify corrective actions Partner with project teams to develop and implement site-specific safety plans, Job Safety Analyses, and compliance initiatives Deliver safety training, new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and onsite coaching to promote safe work practices Maintain safety documentation including inspections, training records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records Support accident investigations, workers' compensation coordination, return-to-work programs, and regulatory inspections Collaborate with subcontractors and project teams during pre-construction and active projects to ensure safety requirements are met Promote a proactive safety culture by building trust with field personnel and continuously improving safety performance Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, related field, or equivalent experience Experience of construction health and safety with heavy industrial, hydropower, manufacturing, or similar environments Strong knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards, construction safety regulations, confined space practices, and scaffolding safety Experience performing onsite safety inspections and supporting safety compliance on active construction projects Current OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with the ability to manage documentation and reporting Ability to travel at least 50% and work extended hours or weekends when project demands require Benefits Company vehicle, company card, travel reimbursement, and $150 daily per diem for qualifying travel assignments Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% (employees and dependents) 401(k) Three weeks of PTO plus paid holidaysCareer development opportunities with a company committed to long-term employee growth and future ownership opportunities Opportunity to work on high-profile industrial projects for nationally recognized clients including Boeing and Intel #LI-TS1 #LI-CM1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
