Generator TechnicianWe are looking for a Generator Technician to join our Warshauer Electric Supply team in Tinton Falls, NJ. The Generator Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance, emergency service, and repair of standby power generators. This role will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all components of the generator and automatic transfer switches.What You'll Do:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of standby generatorsDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair all components of the generator and ATSDocument all installed equipment upon arrival of service: make, model, serail number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessaryPerform start-ups on new power generation equipmentPerform warranty work on power generation equipmentProcess required maintenance and work order paperwork on a timely mannerEnsure that all warranty work orders are prepared properly according to warranty policies and that all warranty parts are tagged and turned inResponsible for parts inventory on service truckParticipate in the rotating responsibility of a 24/7 on-call technician rotationOther duties as assignedJob Duties Disclaimer: The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
