Mechanical Engineer

Job Description-


Position Purpose
We are currently seeking a high energy individual to work with our Production Support team as factory support for Lehigh Valley Operations. The candidate should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering. As a valued member of the Production Support team within Group Trucks Technology (GTT), they will work directly with engineering in the production environment. This position will report to the Vehicle Geometry & Production Support Group Manager.


Position Responsibilities
• Investigate manufacturing and assembly issues related to GTT product design
• Analyze manufacturing and assembly problem reports to determine the best course of action to resolve problems and to implement cost effective solutions
• Actively work to eliminate GTT design issues that contribute to demerits on the factory product audits
• Work with the design groups to release clear and accurate documentation of design solutions to manufacturing
• Investigate assembly and manufacturing information affecting product development
